Informing your health with brain volume analyses

NeuroQuant  and NeuroGage
helping you make better decisions about your health

®

®

NeuroQuant and NeuroGage are extremely valuable for finding objective evidence of brain injury or brain disease. Brain volume analyses can be used to inform your physician about abnormal brain structure that can underlie clinical symptoms, and progression of illness. They are based on brain MRI scans set with specific scanning parameters that can be performed at your local MRI scanning center.

NeuroQuant is commercially-available, FDA-cleared software for measuring MRI brain volume in patients. NeuroGage is software that is based on NeuroQuant and extends the utility of NeuroQuant in several important ways. Learn more about the unique features of NeuroGage.

NeuroGage Radar

NeuroGage Radar is a specialized brain volumetric assessment that uses your MRI scan to evaluate the size of different brain regions compared to what’s typical for your age and sex. It uses FDA-cleared NeuroQuant software to process a brain MRI scan and generate a visual summary. It combines and streamlines 18 NeuroQuant reports into 1 NeuroGage Radar report to help highlight any significant deviations in brain volume and asymmetry, comparing findings to published research literature for multiple brain disorders. The results may be useful for your doctor or legal representative to better understand your symptoms or support your case.

Clinician - Patient

A clinician from a patient's care team orders a special NeuroQuantable MRI to look for signs of brain injury or disease, which can be done at a local MRI facility.

MRI Images

The MRI sequences are interpreted by the radiologist, who writes a radiology report. The MRI facility can put the original MRI images on a CD/DVD for the patient, care team, or expert to mail to VIN.

Scanner Parameters

A brain MRI typically has several sequences.  A sequence is based on a specific pattern of MRI scanner settings, which allows the physician to see different things in the brain.
